Wow, I so totally need to take sewing or something to work with me, imagine how productive that would be!

Anyway, I got tired of writing on Eden at work, so I worked on anothe story instead. In the past few days I've got a chapter of just over 2000 words done.


It's . . . well, I'm leaning towards horror/steampunk with it right now. Yeah, quirky, eh?

I'm gonna try to work on an outline and maybe a script at work tomorrow . . . then I'll probably post the idea for opinions.

After all, I sometimes get too blindly obsessed with an idea and overlook the fact that its utterly cliche.

I think I can trust you guys to point out if it needs to be scrapped.

So, I’m reading various mythologies trying to find inspiration for a story . . . because I want to actually try to enter the Rising Stars of Manga contest at some point.

I haven’t got any ideas yet, but I’m very amused at the origin of the bard Taliesin (though it certainly explains some things . . . ). In fact, I giggled a little, and I rarely laugh aloud at things I read.

So yeah, that was kind of random.

And off I go to try to form a story idea again. Though I am vaguely considering a comedy focusing on a collective pantheon of Gods from different mythologies and what they do when not being God-like.

I managed to finish off a book and write nearly 3500 words on my story Eden (which has been restarted again X_X)

It's almost frustrating, because I want to try to work on developing the ability to draw intense and beautiful detail, but that's just not where I'm at right now.


And I'm not talking in terms of ability (though it wouldn't be a lie).


It's just not what I feel like doing. Instead I'm stuck with this very simple style. Hmmm, maybe I can find a way to make this work for me. I bet it'd work well with manga-esque work . . . .
